Technical Workshop - April 29 

Iberdrola Innovation and Training Campus, Madrid

The E4S Alliance Technical Workshop will take place on April 29, 2026, at the Iberdrola Innovation and Training Campus. This one-day collaborative working session brings together Alliance members and technical experts to present and align on the foundational principles of the E4S Alliance, spanning both technical and non-technical dimensions. The agenda covers the Alliance's vision, governance, and collaboration model, alongside the guiding technical principles underpinning interoperability, scalability, cybersecurity, and long-term industry alignment. Following a shared introduction, participants will join dedicated working groups organized by area of expertise and interest. These sessions will focus on:

• Defining technical specifications relevant to each domain
• Identifying interfaces and dependencies between domains
• Proposing domain-level roadmaps reflecting priorities, maturity stages, and sequencing

An optional follow-up session is scheduled for April 30, designed as a consolidation and cross-domain alignment exercise. Technical Working Group leaders will synthesize outputs from all working groups into a single, structured technical roadmap for the E4S Alliance — serving as a shared reference to guide the Alliance's coordinated development and future activities. Participants with an interest in overall consistency and roadmap definition are encouraged to attend.
